As weird as it may seem many barbershops and salons will no longer have a reception area. Customers will have to head directly to their barber or stylist. The reason is do to the limit of people that are allowed to gather in your place of business at once. Subsequently barbers and stylists won't be able to service walk-ins and instead will require them to have to set a scheduled time. Many states require appointments only.  It is suggested to use an automated booking app.

Okay now that you have your client in your chair now what? Many states will require salons and shops to put up plastic partitions to keep a barrier between stations. Some states will require for every other booth to be left empty to create the distance. Masks are required for professionals to wear. However, clients are also required to have on a NOISH CDC approved mask in order for the barber or stylist to service their clientele.
